0hmX/simplified-am62l-computer

This code defines components and scripts for physically representing and routing high-speed DDR memory signals, power lines, and ground planes on an 8-layer PCB with detailed pin assignments, copper pours, and precise via and trace layouts based on TI EVM reference data.

# Simplified AM62L computer

Fresh tscircuit project for the 90 mm x 75 mm, eight-layer AM62L architecture in
the supplied development plan.

## Current implementation boundary

This revision captures the principal selected components and their placement
zones. All catalog parts carry the audited JLC C-number. The processor uses the
official `@tsci/tscircuit.ti` `fccsp_373_anb` footprint.

The two parts without public JLC entries now use pinned public tscircuit
registry packages at version `1.0.0`:

- `U2`: `@tsci/0hmX.mt53e1g16d1zw-footprint`
- `U3`: `@tsci/0hmX.tps6521401vafr-pmic`

The memory package's `1.0.0` entrypoint exports only its demo board, so this
project consumes the package's bundled Circuit JSON footprint through
`components/registry-memory.tsx`. A future package version should export the
`MT53E1G16D1ZW` component directly.

The plan leaves DDR pin mapping, PMIC passive values, power sequencing details,
pinmux, strap balls, and parts-engine footprint review unresolved. Therefore
routing is disabled and SoC/memory/PMIC pins are explicitly no-connect in this
architecture draft. Do not manufacture from this revision.

## Commands

```sh
bun install
bun run typecheck
bun run build
```

## Automatic breakout reproduction

The self-contained Core breakout reproduction is vendored at
[`repros/am62l-lpddr4-breakout-repro`](repros/am62l-lpddr4-breakout-repro).
It keeps exactly two BGA devices and 33 direct DDR signals separate from this
project's classified autorouter and precomputed TI routing data. It is also
published as
[`@tsci/0hmX.am62l-lpddr4-breakout-repro@1.0.0`](https://tscircuit.com/0hmX/am62l-lpddr4-breakout-repro).

Run the reproduction independently:

```sh
cd repros/am62l-lpddr4-breakout-repro
bun install
bun run typecheck
bun run build
bun run verify
```

The current automatic-routing attempt intentionally preserves the observed
pre-phase differential-pair SRJ failure. See the reproduction's `RESULTS.md`
for exact counts, timing, error context, and generated artifact paths.
