# Exact JLCPCB import references
Unmodified CLI import output, retrieved 2026-09-08 using `tsci import --jlcpcb --use-exact-footprint <part number>`. These text files are provenance snapshots, not runtime imports. The two optional header imports also used `--download`.
The runtime files keep existing electrical pin aliases, component semantics and local 3D assets. Their footprint blocks come from these exact imports. `lib/parts/jlc-import-manifest.json` records supplier identities and source/footprint hashes. `bun run check:footprints` checks import integrity and compiled pad/drill geometry; build the panel first.
DNP removable switches use only the imported locating holes and body model, because the separate hot-swap socket owns the electrical contacts. Their solder-in plated holes must not be added over the socket's lead openings. Alternative encoder holes and solder jumpers are bare PCB features, not assembled JLCPCB parts.
